Configuration is used to configure the Agent installed on the device you want to control.
Configuration can be performed in two ways:
Right-click on the Monitor icon in the taskbar to display the local menu, which includes the Configure menu item. Selecting this will launch Configuration.
After opening the Monitor, click on the Configure button.
Configuration can be applied to the following settings:
Configure Agent
Change installation code
Configure password
Set Agent password
Remove Agent password
Disable agent (if it is enabled) / Enable agent (if it is disabled)
⚠️ Whenever possible, use unique passwords that you don’t use elsewhere.
Password reuse is a big threat in today’s world. Many attacks rely on users using the same password for multiple services. Thus, if one is hacked, stolen, spoofed and successfully accessed, the other places where you use the same password are also at risk.
Don’t take the risk, use a unique password.
And even better, if your password is not only unique, but strong.
If you use many unique and strong passwords and need help remembering them, possibly consider using a password manager application. There are many such applications (even free ones) that can help you manage your passwords.
Using a unique password can reduce the chances of your personal and private data being accessed and stolen.
If you think your password is not unique and strong enough, watch our video on how to change it to a more secure one.
The Monitor icon can be one of the following (indicating the status):

After downloading and opening the Agent file (DWAgent), you have the option to choose between Run and Install.
Select the Install option.
Click on the Next button.
If you choose to Install the Agent, you can also choose from 2 different installation options during the installation. Whichever you prefer.
The two modes of the installation are:
Install the Agent with code.
Install the Agent with credentials.
If you choose the Install Agent with code option, you must first create an Agent in the Agents section of the Dashboard. This process will generate an Installation Code for you.
Unattended access gives you the possibility to connect to the Agent without remote acceptance.
✅ If Unattended Access is enabled, the connection does not need to be confirmed.
Enabled Unattended Access is useful in the following cases:
On your own device, which you use only yourself. This allows you to freely connect to your own device.
On a device where there is no user next to it to accept the join request. For example, on a server.
❌ If Unattended Access is disabled, the connection to the Agent must be confirmed. If the connection is denied, the connection is not established. This setting allows you to decide whether a specific user can connect to the device.
Disabled Unattended access is useful in the following case:
On a device that you are actively using and do not want to be disturbed.
To enhance security. It gives you an additional option to accept or reject the connection.
Unattended access is available not only for the installed Agent, but also if you just Run the Agent (without installation). As shown in the screenshot below:
Yes → Unattended Access is enabled.
No → Unattended Access is disabled.
