Why can’t I connect to the agent?

In order to ensure a secured SSL connection, the communication with the agent uses the same port as the browser : TCP 443.

You may experience connectivity issues, especially inside in a company. There are several potential issues.

  • You need to set up a proxy for the agent in order to be able to connect to it.
  • The company has blocked our IPs within its firewall
  • The company has control of all SSL certificates and prevents the agent from validating that certificate
